Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure
For Every Patient. For Every Provider. For Every Mississippian.
The Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure provides public access to its records in accordance with the Mississippi Public Records Act. Most records the Board creates and keeps in the course of its work are available to the public.
Use the form below to request records, and the Board’s public records officer will follow up with you.
You can request most records held by the Board. Some are exempt by law and cannot be released, including licensure applications, the Board’s open investigative files, and personnel records. When only part of a record is exempt, the Board releases the rest with the exempt portions redacted.
The Board responds in accordance with the Mississippi Public Records Act. Costs are based on the actual cost of producing the records and are paid in advance:
For the Board’s full public records procedures, see the Administrative Code, Part 2650, Chapter 2: Public Records.
You can also send your request by mail, email (mboard@msbml.ms.gov), or fax (601-987-4159). Include the same information the online form asks for, including your contact information and a clear description of the records you are requesting.
