Podiatry (DPM)
A Podiatry license is a permanent license issued to Doctors of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) licensed to practice in Mississippi.
Fee: $550
Validity: Expires June 30 each year. Licenses issued after April 1 are valid until June 30 of the following year.

Renewal
Physician Assistant (PA)
A Physician Assistant license authorizes a licensed PA to practice in Mississippi under physician supervision. Applicants must hold a master's level education from an accredited program.
Fee: $550
CME Requirement: 100 hours every two years (minimum 50 Category 1 hours)

A Radiologist Assistant license authorizes a licensed RA to practice in Mississippi under radiologist supervision.

Acupuncturist
An Acupuncturist license authorizes licensed acupuncturists to practice in Mississippi. Applicants must obtain a physician evaluation within six months of applying, as required by section 73-71-7.

Limited X-Ray Machine Operator (LXMO)
A Limited X-Ray Machine Operator permit authorizes individuals to operate limited x-ray equipment in Mississippi. This is a permit, not a license. Employees working in dental or chiropractic offices must apply to the appropriate board for those professions.
Fee: $50
Validity: Two years
CE Requirement: 12 continuing education hours per renewal period
