Our Mission

The Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure (MSBML) protects the health, safety, and welfare of Mississippians by licensing and regulating physicians, podiatrists, physician assistants, radiology assistants, and acupuncturists. Through fair oversight and enforcement of the Mississippi Medical Practice Act, the Board ensures that patients receive safe, qualified care and that healthcare professionals meet the highest standards of practice.
