MD/DO Licensure

Renewals

Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure licenses must be renewed annually. The renewal process ensures licensees remain compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements necessary to maintain active licensure.

Reinstatements

Any physician, osteopath, podiatrist, or physician assistant not practicing in Mississippi who allows his or her license to lapse by failing to renew the license for more than one year may be reinstated by the Board.
