License Recognition for Out-of-State and Military Applicants

People who already hold an occupational license in another state may be able to have that license recognized in Mississippi. Two state laws direct how the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure (MSBML) recognizes licenses obtained in other states.

Military Family Freedom Act

Pursuant to the provisions of the Military Family Freedom Act, Mississippi shall recognize occupational licenses obtained from other states for military members and their families.
